Deloitte appoints two new partners
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu’s Adelaide Office has announced the appointment of two new partners – Paula Capaldo and David Hill.
Paula has been with Deloitte for 13 years providing accounting and consulting advice to her clients. Her areas of expertise are franchising, family-owned businesses and advice to boards.
David joined Deloitte in 1995 as a graduate and has become one of the firm’s youngest partners at 28 years of age. David is a corporate finance specialist and his clients range from large multinationals to small technology start-ups.
New executive board members at Philmac
SA-based valve and pipe fittings specialist Philmac has appointed David Stretton National Distribution & Logistics Manager. David also joins the Company’s Executive Board.
David will be responsible for national distribution inventory, purchasing and supply chain management of all finished goods. His appointment reflects the increased emphasis Philmac is placing on product availability and delivery to customers.
Mr Stretton, formerly Philmac’s Supply Manager, will also work to optimise supply from Philmac’s plant and to streamline regional distribution. Managing director, Chris Stathy says customer service, through improved distribution, is a major focus for Philmac in maintaining leadership in the Australian market.

Australia’s 10th largest winery by branded wine sales, Angove’s is keeping ahead of its growing local and export demand by boosting and restructuring its winemaking team.
Senior Winemaker Warwick Billings is an internationally respected winemaker who has developed his talents over eight years and 14 vintages in wineries in some of the world’s finest grape growing regions from Burgundy and Bordeaux to Veneto and the Languedoc.
