Unique Leadership for Furniture Sector

In June, the Furnishing Industry Association of Australia (FIAA) appointed David Harvey as General Manager of its South Australian branch. In this role, David will be responsible for promoting FIAA’s national and state programs to its members and providing support on matters concerning management capabilities, industrial relations, industry specific training, events and exhibitions relevant to the furnishing industry sectors.

But in an extraordinary contractual agreement, David’s position with the FIAA was created jointly with the Centre for Innovation, Business and Manufacturing (CIBM), where he will hold posts as General Manager at FIAA and Industry Manager Design Based Industries at CIBM and divide his time between working at both organisations.
