Rusling new UDIA national president
SA property industry leader Mr Gary Rusling has been appointed as National President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA). Gary, who is CEO of Adelaide firm Brock Real Estate, is a Past President of the UDIA’s SA Division and has been the Institute’s National Vice President for the past 2 years. He is also currently Chairman of the SA Government’s Housing, Urban and Regional Development Advisory Committee. Mr Rusling has a long track record in the finance, marketing and property sectors.
UDIA helps shape the nation’s urban development industry through consultation, policy development and implementation.
New faces for Austrade
Austrade is delighted to announce the appointment of 3 new Export Advisors, further reinforcing Austrade‘s commitment to SA and bringing the number of Export Advisors to 5. Anne Cao, Damien Cooke and Chris Wood join Rosemary Crane, Heather Walker and Trade Commissioner David Lawson to round out one of the most dynamic and experienced client service teams in Austrade‘s Australian operations. “We are committed to the government‘s goal of doubling the number of SA exporters, and we are beefing up our ability to do that by bringing on board more people with extraordinary business and cultural experiences from around the world," says state manager Chris Rees.
Najar new Murray—Darling GM
Ray Najar has been appointed Gen Mgr of the Murray Darling Association. The MDA includes 74 regional councils, a number of water and catchment management authorities, industry bodies and companies. It liaises to ensure Local Government, Local Water and Catchment Authorities and other local stakeholders are properly included in such Government programs as the National Action Plan and National Water Initiative.
