A ‘Mark’ of a great South Australian
The Board, staff and members of SA Great all believe in the power of positive thinking and communication and believe everyone can learn from and be inspired by the success of others. It is with this at the forefront of the minds of the SA Great Board members that they have recently appointed Mr Mark Bickley as their new Chair-elect.
The current Chair of SA Great, Mr Rex Jory, is finishing his term as Chair on the 8th of December 2004 after four years of invaluable contribution.
The official announcement was made on September 21 at a function held at The Advertiser with many significant SA Great partners and media present, including ‘in-business’ magazine.
Mark Bickley is a very well known South Australian, captaining the Adelaide Crows to two AFL premierships in 1997 and 1998, and being one of Adelaide’s most familiar faces as part of the Channel 9 news team, a presenter on Postcards and a regular on the Sunday Footy Show.
Who better to join the team at SA Great, whose members and supporters are positive, visionary and results-orientated?
From a youngster living in Port Pirie, an electrical apprentice with BHAS smelter and Mitsubishi Motors, a sales executive with SA Brewing, to standing on the grounds of the MCG representing South Australia holding an AFL Premiership Cup, twice!
