Tunny new SubCorp CEO and MD
Australian Submarine Corporation’s Board of Directors has today announced the appt of Mr Greg Tunny as CEO/MD. Current MD of Thales Air Traffic Management Australia and Regional Director Asia, Greg was appointed following the departure of Dr Stephen Gumley. Mr Tunny joins ASC during a pivotal time as the company prepares to bid for RAN surface combatant work, including the proposed Air Warfare Destroyer project. Greg’s appointment follows the award of the 25-year, $3.5 billion Through-Life Support Contract for the Collins Class submarines. "Mr Tunny brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to ASC, which has been developed in the management of complex systems engineering projects for the defence and aviation industries in Australia and overseas," says ASC chairman, John Prescott AC. "The Australian Government has made clear its intent to privatise ASC and, in preparation for this, Mr Tunny will be working to fully establish the Company’s capability in Australia’s naval shipbuilding and repair industry."
Ciccarello new Austereo GM
Austereo today announced the appointment of Sam Ciccarello as GM of its 2 Adelaide stations, SA.FM and 104.7 Triple M. Mr Ciccarello was GM of Adelaide United Football Club and Event Director and CEO for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games’ South Australian operations. Sam is a former CEO of the Adelaide Formula One Grand Prix and the Australian Major Events Corporation.
EDS appoints new executive to SA Government account
