ACI Glass Packaging scores national award
An Adelaide manufacturer that aligns training to business objectives has won a major award at the 2004 Australian Training Awards staged by the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA).
ACI Glass Packaging, based in West Croydon and affiliated with one of the largest glass manufacturing and plastics packaging companies in the world, was named the Large Employer of the Year in a ceremony at the Crown Entertainment Complex in Melbourne.
The judges applauded ACI’s effort to link and track training outcomes to organisational improvements in quality, safety and productivity.
Desmond Brown, human resources manager for ACI Glass Packaging, said the company provided an opportunity for all employees to work towards obtaining national qualifications.
