Vodafones Festive Season
Releasing no less than 15 new model mobile phones in the lead up to Christmas, the small team representing communications multinational Vodafone in SA is very busy building up a wireless world here.
Handset capabilities quickly beggar description; it has become a matter of choosing which phone configuration best suits your needs profile. Capping the lot is Vodafone’s new BlackBerry device — now available in mobile handset style as well as a PDA version — which mounts just about every business application you might need.
Jason Allen, who has been Vodafone’s chief in SA for all of seven months, considers himself blessed to be enjoying a period of strong expansion.
Recording 300% week-on-week growth across that period, new business has induced Vodafone’s distribution partner, Leda Computer Systems to add 10 staff members to accommodate.
