Accolades:
The Leadership Through Innovation Award (SA Premiers Food Awards 2004) has been won by Ferguson Fisheries for their value-added range of Southern Rock Lobster products. Four years of research and development by Ferguson Fisheries has resulted in the entire lobster being used for a range of
high-end products. Congratulations to the Ferguson Family including Directors, Debra and
Andrew Ferguson, and Marketing & Promotions Manager, Kate Ferguson.
Appointments:
Suzannah Conway has relocated from Brisbane to take up the position of General Manager at Windmill Performing Arts. Suzannah’s career has crossed most areas of the arts including theatre, music, opera, community cultural development and festivals. She has been the General Manager of Opera Queensland, Executive Director of the Centenary of Federation Queensland and, more recently, CEO of the Brisbane Riverfestival running two highly acclaimed festival sin 2002 and 2003.
"I am very excited to have joined Creative Director, Cate Fowler, and the Windmill team," said Suzannah. "Windmill is one of the most innovative and creative multi-arts organisations in Australia. Its achievements to date have been impressive, and I am looking forward to applying my skills to develop further Windmill’s national and international standing."
