Adelaide real estate identity Cathy Pearce is collecting as many properties in and around The Port as she can at the moment.
Port Adelaide is an area of interest for a few reasons:
The rich historical value of the beautiful old buildings cannot be replicated.
The area of and surrounding The Port is due for a major overhaul, creating a market for stylish properties to house a growing population that will accompany the growth there.
The area is undervalued. Buying prices are still extremely good in light of the proposed development of the area. Despite press coverage on The Port, articles appearing nationally in property investment magazines, and government investment whole warehouses can be picked up at very reasonable prices, ripe for renovation and redesign.
“There are endless possibilities for investment capital to be raised through CJD for development in this area, based on affordability and potential for development of The Port,” Cathy says.
