Codan makes Canadian connection
World leading communications company, Codan Limited has announced further expansion into the global television broadcast products industry.
The Adelaide-based company has signed a worldwide agreement with North American company, Ross Video, for the Canadian-based company to market products made by its new business unit, Codan Broadcast, internationally.
Codan Managing Director, Mike Heard, said Codan Broadcast had been formed through the amalgamation of the recently-acquired assets of Melbourne-based Talia Sound and Vision Pty Ltd, and Adelaide-based Provideo Pty Ltd, which the Company acquired two years ago.
Talia is a global leader in the design and manufacture of its TV broadcast products.
Codan Broadcast will operate from engineering and manufacturing centres in Adelaide and Melbourne.
It will initially employ 24 people and have an annual turnover of about $7 million.
