Donny Walford jokes that if you want to change the name of your company, then hire her. With a strong performance in banking, finance and trade behind her, Donny has worked for five different organisations that changed their name prior to her leaving. The State Bank of South Australia became Bank SA; Morgan & Banks became Hudson Ltd; The SA Employer's Chamber of Commerce became Business SA and Invest South Australia became the Department of Trade and Economic Industry.
Even in her current role as Chief Executive Officer of vivasa, the organisation was Business Vision 2010 when she assumed her role. And now, as the first female Board member in the 100 years of the IOOF (International Organisation of Odd Fellows) in Australia, she reveals that there may be a name change.
