Degree of happiness is easy to find
Busy business people juggling home lives with their professional lives have it very tough — entrepreneurs perhaps toughest of all.
If our home life is happy and our relationships are happy we are able to excel even more in our business lives. If home is unhappy, business success comes hard.
After enduring two divorces (the last a painful one after 17 years of marriage and two teenage children) Sheryl Gardner has been there. In June 2005 she founded a unique agency to help others through the ordeal.
Her new venture, Degree Relationships, in partnership with Brett Woodhouse, is the only agency of its kind as far as they are aware.
Degree’s primary purpose is to avoid divorce where possible.
“We’re not taught how to be in relationships,” Sheryl says, noting that for driven business people who believe their first job is to bring home the bacon, the risk of being misunderstood is high. Financial stress only compounds things.
