NEIS business of the year

Fifteen South Australian entrepreneurs who have gone from being unemployed to running successful businesses were rewarded for their vision and hard work at a major awards ceremony.

The 2005 Step Up Awards at Enterprise House in Unley recognised the best and most successful businesses started in SA through the Federal Government’s innovative New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) program.

Overall winner Enterprise Packaging (Jim Banitsiotis) provides tailor-made packaging for some of the State’s crucial exports, including wine and automotive parts.

SA Nutrients (Ned Rakocevic) supplies environmentally sound nutrients for hydroponics and plant growth using the waste from recycled food waste.

Edge Homes and Developments (Simon Jarrad) is an innovative building and design company.
