The ageing workforce
Some of the world's leading authorities on dealing with an ageing workforce will converge on Adelaide in April for a two-day national conference.
The conference, New Ideas for an Age Old Problem: managing the ageing workforce takes place on 3-4 April. It will be hosted by Self Insurers of South Australia (SISA) in conjunction with Natalie Botroff & Associates.
The New Ideas conference will explore results from research papers and international projects piloted in Australia and discuss the risks and opportunities associated with managing an ageing workforce.
Manager of SISA, Darryl Turner, says the conference will enable employers, psychologists, human resources managers and occupational health, safety and welfare workers to hear from world experts and start planning their approach to the crucial issues.
