EDS
Scott Ayer is appointed vice president, applications delivery for EDS Asia Pacific. Based in his hometown of Adelaide, he will be overseeing applications delivery to all EDS clients in the Asia Pacific region and managing over 5000 software developers. Since joining EDS in 1998, Scott has held senior roles in Australia and the USA. Most recently, he led global strategic capability management at EDS headquarters in Texas.
Santos
MD and CEO, John Ellice-Flint, has accepted a contract extension on a base salary of $1.5m p.a. Announcing package details, chairman Simon Gerlach said the board sought external expert advice to set a package at a level “necessary and reasonable” to secure the services of a MD and CEO of a top 50 Australian company. Remuneration arrangements effectively expired in December 2005 and the package covers January 2006 through to at least August 2009. Christian Bennett has joined Santos as group executive, government strategy & media affairs. Christian joins after a 14 year career with DFAT, most recently as Australian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.

Following the appointment of experienced mortgage broker Paul Frisby as lending manager, the wealth management and stockbroking firm now provides clients with expert loan consultation services. Paul joins with over 40 years’ experience in banking and finance across three states. He will provide loan consultation services to clients for home and investment property purchases to re-financing for investment and financing needs for the self-employed.
