ICE WaRM
Leading water educator ICE WaRM appointed Mike Terlet AO as a member of its board of directors. Mike currently chairs Australia’s largest privately owned water company, United Water International, and the Water Industry Alliance. He is dedicated to collaboration within the local water industry. He led the formation and growth of AWA Defence Industries from 1978 to 1992. He has since undertaken a number of directorships in private and public companies and served as President of the SA Employers Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Engineering Employers Association.
Minter Ellison
Minter Ellison has a number of new appointments. Angela Martin as director - human resources; with a senior human resources background at AMP, Arnotts and Smiths, Angela has returned from Sydney. Paul Black as special counsel to the worker’s compensation team; Paul has 14 years’ experience in worker’s compensation and worked with Palios, Meegan & Nicholson where he specialised in personal injury law. Sophie Carman as a senior associate in the worker’s compensation team; Sophie has provided advice and representation to the WorkCover Corporation and its agents in relation to the SA worker's compensation legislation and has worked at Gun & Davey and Donaldson Walsh. Kelly Ey as a senior associate in the corporate and commercial team; her core experience is in mergers and acquisitions as well as franchising, intellectual property law issues, trade practices law, corporate governance and director duties. Jody Grant as a senior associate in the environmental and planning team; Jody has significant experience across all aspects of development, planning and environmental law through representation of developers, objectors and various metropolitan and regional councils.
