AVJennings
AVJennings has appointed John Howarth (right) to manage the company's contract building operations.
As GM, Contract Building, John will be responsible for building about 400 new homes and renovation projects in SA in the coming year. He has been with AVJennings for almost 20 years, having joined as the leading residential developer as an administrator in the Home Improvement section in 1988.
John will focus on strengthening the capacity of the contract building business as well as producing a broader range of products to meet changing customer requirements.
Hassell
Brenton Burman, discipline leader of the Adelaide Planning Team of Hassell, has been promoted to principal of the firm.
With more than 25 years' experience in state and local government and the private sector in SA, Brenton has directed significant major land development projects within metropolitan Adelaide including transit-oriented development opportunities and a benchmark in sustainable residential development. These include the Port Adelaide Centre Vision and Urban Design Framework and the Lochiel Park Green Village Master Plan.
Hassell's urban planning team has expanded. New associate Peter Hall brings more than 20 years' experience following senior planning roles at City of Adelaide, City of Salisbury and most recently the City of Victor Harbor.
