600 gain AIM‘s CPMgr credential
More than 600 managers in SA have been designated Certified Professional Managers in the first three months of the Australian Institute of Management’s world-class accreditation scheme.
This is half the target set for the first year of the scheme by AIM’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr John Stokes.
“We have been delighted with the take-up of this membership designation which will lead to greater recognition of the management profession,” he said.
“This designation has been developed with one objective - for CPMgr to become the benchmark qualification for professional managers.”
Research showed that in the rapidly changing business environment, a new certification program was required to meet the current and future needs of employers and individuals.
The program revolves around four pillars of certification — experience, qualification, continuing professional education and ethics.
