On the big stage now
In show business, they say that you're only as good as your last performance. For Ocular Audiovisual Services this means the epic Australian Tourism Exchange,(ATE Convention) held in Adelaide in June 2006.
ATE is the largest wholesale travel event in the southern hemisphere, held each year in a different host city. Ocular was contracted by In Front Events Australia to provide display technology for the two major events at the ATE 06 convention.

The first event was a cocktail party welcome reception for 1000 guests at the Hilton Hotel. Ocular rolled out its big guns and designed a show which incorporated watchout.™ technology to manage various media projected in hi-resolution onto five screens.
The second event was the largest ever staged in South Australia, a gala formal dinner for 2500 guests seated in an outdoor venue. A massive marquee 60m by 50m was erected in the grounds of the Adelaide Oval.
Inside, Ocular Audiovisual set up their magic show by first installing nine separate screens to present the evening's multimedia spectacular featuring Human
Nature and Christine Anu.
Ocular designed this convention finale presentation so that the performing artists would be covered by three outside broadcast video cameras. This live video feed was managed and blended through the multi media matrix to provide high quality images - a set up that took four days to install. It was judged an outstanding success by the international VIP guests.
Feedback from ATE was that many visitors had never seen an audiovisual presentation of this standard produced in South Australia before. Judging by the incredible amount of travel business generated by ATE06 for Australian Tourism this truly was an event to remember.
