Status wins PM partnership accolade
Status Employment Services has won a Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Community Business Partnerships, taking out the South Australian Medium Business Category Award.
Status earned the accolade through its partnership with Kids Future Kids, an independent organisation providing life and leadership skills to children and young adults aged six to 16 years from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Status has supported KFK’s work of conducting recreational camps by providing financial support, office accommodation and professional advice to the 30-year-old community service organisation.
The partnership developed after Status Executive Director Gary Hatwell participated in the Prime Minister’s Community Initiatives week in 2005.
Following the philosophy that all business has an impact on society and in turn depends on society for its success, Gary took action with characteristic gusto.
