Housing affordability in SA remains low

According to the Housing Industry Association the much-needed recovery in housing affordability in Adelaide has fallen into a black hole, although in regional SA affordability did post a modest improvement.

The combination of a second interest rate rise in August and robust house prices has sent housing affordability in Adelaide to its lowest level since the beginning of the 1990s.
