Big future projected for Digislide
SA-based IT hardware innovator, Digislide hasn’t got a product on the market yet, but it’s winning awards hand over fist.
Finishing third in its class of the recent Secrets of Australian ICT Innovation awards, Digislide has also been designated a finalist in the peer-nominated World Technology Awards, to be held in San Francisco later this year.
“It is beyond anything we could have asked or imagined,” Digislide CEO Luceille Outhred says of her firm standing alongside industry leaders Palm, Samsung, LG Electronics, and Lenovo on the nine-company short list.
Digismart is a miniature projector capable of projecting an A3 size image in ambient light, and a larger image in a home theatre environment. To anyone who has squinted at a mobile phone display, the applications are obvious.
