CPA Australia
CPA Australia has elected Rob Jano CPA to the position of South Australian State President. Rob is the principal of his own business consulting firm and has more than 14 years of operational and senior management experience in accounting, commercial finance, marketing, sales and HR. He also lectures in HR and Operational Management subjects at the MBA level.
Prior to establishing his business, Rob held a senior national management role with Hudson, specialising in the accounting and finance sector, and has worked in the banking and finance and legal services sectors in Melbourne and Sydney.
DMAW Lawyers
DMAW Lawyers has appointed Loretta Polson, Tom Dachs and Cameron Lockett to its team.
Loretta joins the firm as a Senior Associate to the Business Transactions team. Loretta has many years experience as a principal of her own firm, acting for businesses and accountants.
Tom joins the firm as a Senior Associate to the Dispute Resolution and Risk Management team. Tom most recently worked at Hicksons in Sydney and previously Clifford Chance in London.
Cameron joins the Dispute Resolution and Risk Management team. Cameron draws on his previous experience, in particular the management of large and complex disputes.
Synovate
Todd Miller has been promoted to the role of Managing Director for Synovate SA / NT. Todd will focus on the financial management and operations of the SA/NT business unit, in addition to business development and strategic consulting work with clients. Todd, who has been with the company since July 2006, has broad management level experience in strategy planning, brand analysis, creative development, media planning and research.
