Rush kicks off Australia NZ council
Eric Rush, All Blacks rugby legend and New Zealand business identity, was keynote speaker when a new international peak business body coordinated its launch with the recent Adelaide Sevens International Rugby tournament.
Adelaide Lord Mayor Michael Harbison launched the Australia - New Zealand Business Council at the National Wine Centre in April.
The body plans to focus on building new, joint business in the Asia Pacific region by exchanging products, services, investment and ideas, and through the support of existing business links. Alistair McFarlane, interim president, says collaboration through the ANZBC will result in global successes for SMEs on both sides of the Tasman.
