Dare to get the best from yourself

Samantha McDonald challenges people to change their mindset about success and prosperity, and to become whatever they dare; which is why she chose the name Dare Coaching & Seminars for her Adelaide-based, nationally focused business.
“Success is not linked to intelligence,” says Samantha, “it’s about having a champion mindset. The mind is a powerful instrument and can accelerate change in the subconscious, which in turn accelerates change in our actions.
“Success comes from how we think about and project the things that we want.”
Quick to point out that success comes in many forms, Samantha works with people who, for a variety of reasons, want to change patterns in their lives. It could be a pattern of choosing the wrong partner, always being in debt, never having enough customers, or other issues such as weight-loss and finding the right career path.
“Positive thinking as a business development tool is not new, so I bring a unique value and perspective to the table,” says Samantha. “Helping people to gain more from their lives gives me a great buzz every time it happens; and every time I am also more fulfilled and dynamic in my own life – it’s like being a candle that isn’t extinguished each time it lights another candle.
“The area I enjoy most is working with groups and seeing those ‘aha’ moments when my clients realise what’s been holding them back,” she says.
“I have also observed that group sessions actually encourage people to openly discuss their challenges which brings about a collaborative dynamic – and that in itself is a very positive outcome.”
In terms of practising what she preaches, Samantha has clear goals and a strong direction for her business which includes opening Dare Coaching & Seminars offices in every capital city in Australia. Samantha already contracts coaches in major cities on the east coast and travels regularly, so capitalising on her...
