Iconic building after iconic PM
The University of South Australia unveils its $35 million Hawke building this month, named after South Australian born Prime Minister, Bob Hawke.
The new venue, and landmark feature of the City West precinct, was designed by award winning architect, John Wardle. The building will house a 400-seat auditorium; The Kerry Packer Civic Gallery – endowed by the Packer family; a forum space; and a high-tech theatre with international communications capacity.
