Vodafone hits the red button
Vodafone is the first advertiser in Australia to turn its logo into the interactive button on pay TV channels, as it launches a dedicated campaign to promote its Mobile Rugby TV. Pay TV viewers can click on logo, which replaces the traditional red button that accompanies interactive ads, to go to a dedicated Vodafone advertiser location which provides more than 60 hours of live Rugby World Cup 2007 coverage. The interactive advertising campaign - created by Sydney creatives, Ikon Communications and One Barrack Street - will run for four weeks across 13 Foxtel channels.
