Tucker out of the box in the US
Tucker Creative has won a series of brand identity contracts in the US which has sparked a major growth phase.
Tucker Creative, established by design industry figure Barrie Tucker in 1976, is a diverse creative company with a client portfolio of businesses from several sectors including manufacturing, food and wine and commercial service industries.
Managing and Creative Director, Jody Tucker, says Australian designers should enjoy a major growth phase as the US wine industry seeks fresh packaging solutions.
“More than 10% of our annual turnover is derived from clients in the US wine industry who are seeking a bold and more personalised alternative to the often repetitive design work produced by US companies,” Jody says.
Tucker Creative, which has been designing wine labels for major US wine firms such as EJ Gallo since 1990, recently won a major new contract with Rodney Strong Vineyards of the Sonoma Valley – one of the largest wine companies in the US, producing and selling 675,000 cases of wine a year.
Contracts with another six US wine clients are in the pipeline, which could increase Tucker’s turnover by up
to 10%.
“We have established strong relationships in the US and have continued to produce innovative, quality work, which is now starting to pay off,” Jody says.
