Jubilee expands to 9350m2
As Adelaide’s meeting and convention business builds up, the city’s major venues are keeping pace. The Convention Centre redevelopment opened late last year and now the Royal Adelaide Showground’s major expansion of the Jubilee Pavilion and the redevelopment of Hamilton Boulevard is due for completion.
In its newly expanded form, the Jubilee Pavilion has 9,350m2 of space, which translates to room for 500 exhibition booths. A retracting wall allows the venue to be divided into Eastern and Western halls, with the Western Hall boasting 6,000m2 of space.
The Jubilee Pavilion now has four separate vehicle access points and seven main pedestrian doors. Car parking on the showgrounds for more than 2,000 cars and ease of access for exhibitors and the public are both major selling points for the venue.
