Solution in a Container

Milford Industries, located at Camden Park in Adelaide, is best known to the Australian public as a manufacturer of cargo barriers for use in station wagons, 4WDs and light commercial vehicles. Milford cargo barriers dominate the market and are the only barriers certified by Standards Australia and permitted to display the famous Standards Mark.

The same public might not know, however, that the other arm of Milford Industries manufactures intermediate bulk containers, which are pallet footprint—sized transport and storage materials handling units used to carry liquid or dry goods, or to consolidate loose cargo. Australia Post carries letters and parcels all over the country in Milford—manufactured containers. Holden spare parts are dispatched to dealers in intermediate bulk containers made in Adelaide, while other major customers include Chep Pooling Equipment and Van Leer Industrial Packaging.
