Horses, buses and other success stories from AMACC
The Adelaide Metropolitan Area Consultative Committee Inc (AMACC) works with the three levels of government, industry, business and community groups and our relationships have always been positive, constructive and enhanced over the many years of association and support.
AMACC is a member of the ACC national network, and a unique and valuable resource as a non-profit, community-based organisation funded by the Australian Government to:
•act as a key facilitator of change and development in our region
•provide a link between government, business and the community, and
•facilitate whole of government responses to opportunities in our communities.
AMACC can:
•help applicants decide whether a proposal is suitable for funding
•help applicants develop the project
•help applicants to obtain broad community and business support for the proposal and identify possible project partners and organisations to help with the project
•explain and help with the application and submission process, and
•identify other funding sources and work with applicants in preparing submissions across tiers of government and across different portfolios.
AMACC aims to maximise the potential for success of applications for funding to meet identified needs, especially applications for funding from the Federal Government.
