Nanny care gets recognition

Looking after parents most important possessions, their children, is something that Tanya Cole, MD of nanny placement company Nanny SA, doesn’t take lightly.
Tanya established Nanny SA in 1999 as a home-based business after personal dissatisfaction in finding a suitable and qualified nanny to look after her own children.
“I wanted a nanny and I found that the services being provided at the time were inadequate,” says Tanya.
“I had been working in HR at the time and we always visited premises. I found that the duty of care wasn’t there – they would just send someone around to my house and expect me to be okay with them looking after my children.”
With demand for child care services growing, enabling parents to balance work and family life, often out of necessity for double income families, Tanya saw the need for a child care recruitment company that specalised in labour hire of nannies and child care workers.
