AMACC joins RDA as projects pay off
AMACC transitioning to RDA and success in the North
The Adelaide Metropolitan Area Consultative Committee Inc is funded by the Australian Government to work with the three levels of government, industry, business and community groups to support economic, social and environmental development.
AMACC is a unique and valuable resource as a non-profit, community-based organisation that is apolitical and able to act as a key facilitator of change and development, provide a link between government, business and the community, and facilitate whole-of-government responses to opportunities in the region.
In facilitating the link between government, business and industry and the community, we provide feedback to the Australian Government on emerging issues and trends and significant incidents which impact on economic, social and environmental growth as well as the concerns and needs of the community from the grassroots level.
AMACC gets out and about in the region to talk to community bodies, to business, industry and government representatives to identify, clarify and prioritise needs and facilitate the development of strategic responses.
The Parliamentary Secretary for Regional Development and Northern Australia, the Hon Gary Gray AO MP, has requested AMACC and the national network of Area Consultative Committees to consult as widely as possible with government, industry and communities in the development of a new funding program for regional and lo...
