Healthy society feeling is Mutual
Mutual Community is paying heed to the word “community” in its name and finds the personal touch is paying dividends.
A company founded in SA, the national health insurer has been looking after families for more than 70 years. Mutual Community notably supports and contributes towards local events and programs involving sport, education and community events.
But what’s interesting is the insurer has maintained a major retail chain providing face-to-face service when many service providers are looking to drive business online. Mutual Community provides all electronic means of interaction - website, direct debit, payroll deductions, telephone and e-mail for those who want it - but still maintains 17 retail outlets around SA.
Nearly 40% of all sales transactions and about 50% of claims and payments take place over the counter.
