Hong Kong - wine hub

Big news of late for the very active Hong Kong Australia Business Association was Hong Kong’s intention to become the wine hub of Asia, an aim Chief Secretary for Administration, Henry Tang, stated when opening Vinexpo there earlier this year.

“Our commitment was reflected in our decision toreduce duties on wine to zero,” Mr Tang said. “That makes Hong Kong the only duty-free wine port among major economies.
