Credit where it’s due
Nick May of Community CPS Australia has won one of five scholarships from the World Council of Credit
Unions at WOCCU’s international annual conference in Hong Kong in July. He’s the first South Australian, and third Australian to do so.
The annual WOCCU Young Credit Union People Program is designed to engage and promote young professionals in the international credit union movement.
Nick, 34, is IT Operations Manager at Community CPS and has been with CPS for more than 16 years.
“The scholarship has provided me with a refreshed enthusiastic outlook on my work,” Nick says. “(It) was a huge honour - not just the award but the opportunities and experiences that it brings.
“I will now facilitate next years World Youth Program at WOCCU in Barcelona, and this variation to my usual
work I find refreshing and interesting.
I find myself wanting to be associated with ‘people’ programs and look forward to assisting with the
