Coopers takes 2008 Telstra SA crown
Coopers Brewery is 2008 Telstra South Australian Business of the Year. The Regency Park-based brewery received the top award from Deena Shiff, Group
Managing Director of Telstra Business and Telstra Business Awards Ambassador.
Coopers also won the Panasonic Australia Medium Business Award for outstanding businesses with 21-200 employees.
“This Award recognises Coopers Brewery for its hard work, determination and business success,” Ms Shiff said.
“The judges were highly impressed by Coopers Brewery’s customer focus, innovative thinking, company vision and overall business practices. These key areas are the building blocks of Coopers Brewery’s success and make the company a role model for all SA businesses.”

Palm Micro-Business Award (for businesses with five employees or fewer) Stress Free Marine (Lonsdale) MYOB Small Business Award (for businesses with six to 20 employees) Port Adelaide Brewing Company at Port Dock Brewery Hotel AMP Innovation Award - EVRsafe Marine
Technologies (Norwood), Sensis Social Responsibility Award – Marion Physiotherapy. SA award winners will compete against other state and territory winners at the national final in Sydney on Friday 10 October, where they will be eligible to win the national award in their category and become 2008 Telstra Australian Business of the Year.
SCF Containers wins second ABA innovation award
SCF Containers International, an independently owned and operated Australian container sale and leasing business, has won the Australian Business Award for Innovation in 2008, for the second year running.
