Technology Company is a high-tech export company providing technology solutions, software, and services for developing, validating and testing electronics products.
“Our target customers are the world’s leading design and innovation intensive semiconductor and electronics companies supplying the wireless, multimedia and automotive electronics markets,” Jay says.
“ASTC customers include the leading electronics brand names, such as Motorola, Freescale Semiconductor, NEC, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Delphi and others in the same tier.”
A pure export company from inception, all ASTC’s existing and target customers are overseas, in the USA, Europe and Japan.
“ASTC specializes in the design, modelling and simulation of semiconductor and electronic products, in the development and supply of virtual platforms for product software development and test, in the design and verification of Analog/Mixed Signal semiconductors
and systems, and the design of microcontroller and
sensor semiconductors (ASICs) and systems,” Jay says.
ASTC claims to be the world’s leading vendor of wireless phone virtual platforms. For example, it supports and can test the entire Motorola range of 3G/4G and 2G phones using virtual phone platform environments for system and applications software.
‘Virtual platforms’ technology lets ASTC develop software before the hardware it will run on has been made, reducing costs, improving instrumentation, control and visibility and achieving higher operating speeds. This requires deep understanding of the target hardware, software, products and applications.
“This creates excellent opportunities for a company like ASTC to work alongside leading electronics companies and support their internal and external supply chains with virtual platform technologies, products and services,” Jay says.
Leading electronics companies are also tending to outsource some internal product developm...
