Tradefilm puts exporters on big screen
A 10-month collaboration between the State’s best filmmaking talent and a dozen keen SA exporters premiered in October at the City’s Mercury Cinema.
The TradeFilms project saw three teams of filmmakers create marketing materials for 12 SA businesses.
TradeFilms is a partnership between Austrade and SA’s Media Resource Centre. MRC brings emerging screen industry practitioners together with SMEs to create innovative, screen-based advertising campaigns.
“The quality and diversity of each of the 12 films is testament not only to the skill and imagination of the filmmakers chosen to take part – but also the enthusiasm for the project shown by each of the businesses involved,” MRC Director, Gail Kovatseff says.
“There’s a great mix of traditional marketing tools including advertisements and corporate videos, along with more modern concepts like a video series specifically designed for viral marketing through an avenue such as YouTube.”
