Helpmann Academy
Helpmann Academy has appointed Chris Bull to the position of Marketing Manager. Chris is a communications specialist and holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of South Australia. He spent two years working in radio broadcasting and media monitoring (including at the ABC, 5UV and Rehame), before moving to the Netherlands in 2001. While in Europe, Chris worked in corporate communications with a range of multinational companies.
Foundation Daw Park Board
The Board of Foundation Daw Park has appointed John McCourt, a Partner at accounting and consulting firm mhm, to its Board of Directors. John, who is also on the Foundation Daw Park Governance Committee, specialises in providing business advisory, taxation and financial services to private and public sector organisations.
Australian Central
Australian Central has appointed Daryl Bateman as the organisation’s new General Manager, Advice and Distribution - becoming part of the Executive Management team. Daryl has 30 years experience in the South Australian financial services industry, including 22 years with credit unions. Daryl was previously with Australian in a variety of distribution management roles. He has held senior roles with Community CPS Credit Union, including more than 10 years as an Executive Manager. Chris will oversee the organisation’s retail network, which includes banking and advice centres, home loan advisors and wealth management advisors.
Pulteney Grammar School
Alex Brockbank has been appointed Director of ICT at Pulteney Grammar School. Alex has previously worked in the South Australian Government Department of the Premier and Cabinet and Department of Treasury and Finance. He has also worked in database management within a division of the London Financial Times, network administrator at Elizabeth Arden (London), to Manager of IT in the London office of an international law firm.
