Massaging a good brand
Fast Mover, Endota spa is a day spa franchise network. Partners Karmen Wakelin and Kylie Leopold operate spas in Adelaide, the Barossa Valley and opened a new spa in King William Road, Hyde Park in mid-December.
“We asked our manager from the Adelaide spa, Abbie Marshall, to come into partnership with us for the Hyde Park business,” Kylie says.
“Endota spa is ‘down to earth heaven’,” Kylie says.
“We offer great treatments at everyday prices.
“We have a range of treatments from 30-minute massage and facials through to all-day packages which include body wraps, spa treatments, etcetera.
“Gift vouchers make up a significant proportion of our business, particularly at this time of year (Christmas).
“We also retail our own range of organic skin and body care and the dermalogica treatment range.”
Good custom in Adelaide led the partners to consider a nearby expansion site.
“Our Adelaide spa is an extremely busy spa, so by opening Hyde Park we will be able to cater for those clients who are currently unable to visit our spa due to the long waiting lists for treatments,” Kylie says.
“At our Barossa Valley spa we are focussing on driving additional business mid-week through offering conferencing packages with the Novotel Barossa Valley resort.”
Endota Spa’s strong growth has been driven by several factors including constant commitment to improving all areas of business.
“We are always looking for better ways to manage staff, our finances, operations, etc,” Kylie says.
“We aim to offer every client a brilliant experience customized to their needs and requirements.
“A lot of our business is word of mouth so it is extremely important that every client that comes through our door loves their experience.” It’s important to know how the business operates.
