SA film production up 20%
Film and TV production work in SA has increased by 20%. According to the latest Australian Film Corporation national survey of feature film and TV drama production, $32 million was invested during 2007-08 up from $27 million in 2006-07.
Only SA and WA recorded increases on last year’s figures. Productions contributing to the increase include Beautiful Kate directed by Bryan Brown, Kojo Pictures’ Beautiful and Channel Nine’s McLeod’s Daughters.
