AquaSpy Group
Bruce Moeller had been appointed CEO of the AquaSpy Group, following Nigel Hennessy’s retirement. Bruce was the President and CEO of DriveCam – a global driver risk management company. His role at AquaSpy Group will build on the company’s ties in markets such as Australia and North and South America.
Adelaide Convention Centre
Adelaide Convention Centre has appointed New Zealander Jo Robinson to Director of Marketing & Sales. Jo joins the ACC after almost 10 years of selling Christchurch as a conference destination. She will be responsible for generating national and international business for the Centre and State through her international industry contacts and her knowledge of the European, Asian, and Australian and New Zealand markets. Richard Builder has been appointed to the ACC’s new role of Technical Services Manager. Recently returning to Adelaide after working for the past three years as a Product Manager for one of Australia’s largest audio equipment distributors, Audio Product Group, Richard will oversee the technical services teams at the Centre. Richard previously worked for SkyCity Adelaide Casino as the Entertainment Executive.
Statewide
Statewide Superannuation Trust has appointed Nicholas Begakis AM as Chairperson. Nick has been a Director of Statewide Superannuation Trust since 2007 and has more than 30 years’ experience in senior management roles in manufacturing industries, venture capital, merchant banking and corporate recovery. In 2000, he was invested as a Member of the Order of Australia for services to business and export development, and to the community. Janet Giles has also been appointed to the Board. The union representative has been appointed as a Director. Janet is a member of the Premier’s Council for Women and several government advisory committees, and executive member of the ACTU.
