Ecovortek: how does it work?
Market penetration for any alternative technology, even one with demonstrated merit, is tough. Stemming from technology developed 10 years ago to improve engine performance, Ecovortek water conditioning
systems improve water quality, but no one knows exactly how.
In the Ecovortek team, Andrew Shore is the inventor and chief trouble shooter. Brian Dempsey does the accounting and works closely with Ian in establishing field trials, production process and capacity and
planning for the commercialisation. Ian Hobbs develops and oversees trial and produces publicity material.
“After much development we are at a stage where we have 10 years of continual positive feedback of the benefits of the technology and considerable knowledge from trials and research of how to repeat the positive
benefits,” says Ian.
“We lack marketing expertise and are looking at options to escalate sales as the market is now ripe. Ecovortek units treat the water supply and
range from 15mm to 100mm in diameter. The 15mm unit is for dedicated applications such as coffee machines, aquariums, caravans and other low flow usage. A 25mm unit suits domestic mains water with 40mm to 100mm units for irrigation and commercial applications such as treating wastewater to reduce bad odours and turbidity. All Ecovortek products have WaterMark certification for quality assurance.
