BuySA drives more than
SA Great’s Buy South Australian initiative continues to gain momentum, with last month’s campaign the program’s biggest yet.
Throughout April and May, SA Great ran a competition in conjunction with the SA Holden Dealer Network and South Australia’s Foodland Supermarkets.
The competition saw one lucky consumer drive away in a brand new Holden Omega Sportwagon.
The competition was designed to encourage South Australians to buy products which are grown, manufactured or produced in SA. Across a five-week period, SA Great spread the BuySA message with the help of its valued media partners.
Over 2000 entries were received for the competition, clearly demonstrating South Australians’ support of local products and produce.
SA Great CEO, Nikki Seymour-Smith, said the campaign’s role was crucial in reminding South Australians about the importance of buying local products.
“Buying SA products will ensure jobs, creativity and exports continue to surge in our State,” Nikki says.
“The initiative was also vital in helping SA consumers to identify local products and make informed decisions when purchasing goods.”
Holden Corporate Affairs Manager, Andrea Matthews, says the campaign was a great opportunity to remind SA
consumers that Holden was an iconic brand in the State.
