Leapfrog on frontline with Crows
The primary focus of Adelaide-based training and development company, Leapfrog People, is to deliver business and leadership results for managers, sales professionals, teams and public speakers through various programs.
Leapfrog’s Crows Frontline Leadership program does this in a very unique way. It taps into the elite sporting environment, drawing parallels of leadership and management strategies on and off the field.
Participants get the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Adelaide Football Club and gain an insight to the operations of a disciplined and highly visible organisation with a strong leadership culture.
“Some people see training as discretionary and with no direct link to results, however in the elite sporting environment this is not the case,” says Leapfrog Consulting Partner, Sue Crawford.
“What is learned during the week has to be applied on the weekend; as Neil Craig says, if you can’t do it at training, you won’t do it on the day.
“The program emerged from discussions between Leapfrog Directors (Crows members) and Craig Burton from the Crows as a case study for leaders to improve results and success by developing their own skills and those of the people they lead.
