Fast Mover company, Logi-Tech Pty Ltd achieved nearly $6m in sales turnover for 34.3% growth in 2007- 08 and looks likely to exceed that mark this year in an impressive display defying prevailing trends.
Logi-Tech provides Convergence, Networking, Security and Storage technologies to meet customers’ ICT needs. GM Andrew Morris says those four areas are becoming the essential elements for any organisation attempting to consolidate current and historical data on legacy information systems and optimise ICT resources.
As yet Logi-Tech does no work interstate or overseas and according to Andrew is “very proudly South Australian”.
“As a South Australian ICT company, you really have to focus on all support requirements for a client,” he says.
“We don’t have the luxury of population like the eastern seaboard, so you have to cover most areas. This can include sale of product, break-fix support, solution design and strategic planning. As Logi-Tech can support anything from five to more than 3000 users the business must be flexible and able to adapt.
“Currently, as our revenues would support, we are focusing more on the actual services to the client rather than the product. Being a SA company without national backing, we can’t sustain the low product margins currently prevailing in our marketplace.”
Logi-Tech has established strong working relationships with key clients.
“One of our biggest growth drivers has been defence,” Andrew says. “Logi-Tech has a large presence in places like DSTO and Edinburgh for IT services and support.
“With relationship support from companies like Unisys, we have been able to grow our defence services arm to enable high-level exposure, allowing us to obtain longer term contract work within these environments.”
He says a “growing reputation for integrity and quality support” for clients has been important for growth.
