Evright rises to fresh prizes
The Evright group of companies predominantly supplies sporting and corporate clients with awards and personalized products, engraving and branding a broad variety of products in-house and importing custom products such as trophies, corporate awards and badges.
“We concentrate on prestige and major events,” Evright director, Simon Moore says.
“Our web presence has grown to the point we now have the largest internet site of its kind in Australia; back in 2004 we rebranded from Evright trophies to Evright.com to lose the perception we only supplied trophies.
“The main focus of the business was on providing a solution rather than a product. Many customers didn’t know what was available - what they wanted or needed - so the ability to provide options and information was a huge asset.
“Technology growth in the past 20 years has been our greatest asset. Our industry was very hesitant to embrace the technology available so we were given a huge head start.”
Evright offers services such as computer engraving, metal imaging, full colour plastic printing, laser engrave and cut and sand carve glass. It stocks jewellery, promotional products, plaques, namebadges: “Our growth is a result of the options and services we provide to the industry,” Simon says.
“Traditionally trophy shops can only supply and engrave trophies. Our focus on upselling to existing customers.”
To this end Evright bought a license to supply industry leading Trotec laser systems.
”We have supplied systems worth over $200,000,” Simon says. “As the options available to our customers are so varied, product selection can be quite laborious. We have implemented a very clear web structure simplifying and considerably speeding up the selection and purchase process.”
Quotations, ordering and artwork are transacted on-line. Evright is working with an American company on an online search facility to further simplify transactions.
