Horticulture push on Limestone Coast

The Limestone Coast has recorded a surge in the number of potential investors scouting the area for major horticulture opportunities.
While the region is already home to many multi-million dollar horticulture enterprises the Limestone Coast Regional Development Board, along with Primary Industries and Resources SA, has launched an information gateway to attract further investment to the area.
“The Limestone Coast region’s strengths lie in the diversity of our already established industries and current infrastructure,” says LCRDB Industry Development Officer, Michaela Bell.
“As more and more businesses face problems due to limited availability of water, land and natural resources the Limestone Coast finds itself in the fortunate position of having a reliable rainfall, plentiful supply of underground water and some of the State’s best horticulture soil.”
