TUCKshop’s digital menu
SA-based design and marketing consultancy Tucker Creative has launched an online shopping cart and content management system designed for SMEs, TUCKshop, which aims to bring all customer relations management functions together.
“It is for businesses that require a customized, easy to manage system that requires no previous experience with digital technology,” says Tucker Creative strategic Marketing Director, Gary Anderson. “Currently we
have customers introducing the system to their integrated digital communications and customer relationships strategies.
“We have a retail customer with more than 1800 products and customers with as few as 20 products. Wine industry clients have seen the advantage of this system, in driving their direct marketing sales linked with our programs for email marketing and customer database management, and our creative ability to build tailored websites that work the package.”
TUCKshop derives from Tucker’s frustrating experience with website construction.
“I had observed for some time that when we as marketers and designers were contracted to design and build websites for clients, the content management of a site by the company personnel themselves was often very complex, with HTML language and technology skills required to manage the off-the-shelf CMS programs,” Gary says.
